Pawnbroker
Pawn requires involvement with the Sparks Police Department for start-up. When the application is received, the licensing department does not collect the full amount, due to the possibility of failure to pass all qualifications at the Police Department.

Once the applicant has been approved by the City Council, the following day, he/she may pay for the remainder of the application.

| Renewal Fee: |
$2,000 + $1 per thousand over $10,000 gross receipts |
| Closing receipts: |
$1 per thousand over $10,000 gross receipts from the date of the last renewal to the date of close or sale of the business. |
