You may already be familiar with Sparks if you have ever attended one of our special events. Victorian Square hosts weekly Farmer's Markets during the summer; the Big Easy, a celebration of Cajun food and music; Star
Spangled Sparks, our salute to our nation's birthday on the Fourth of July; Hot August Nights, a five-day extravaganza highlighting the cars and music of the 50's and 60's; the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook off, showcasing the epicurean talents of the rib cookers across the country and around the world; and the Hometowne Christmas, our annual kickoff of the holiday season. We are a fast growing city with residential communities and business and commercial centers moving from artists' renderings to finished product at a brisk pace. We offer prospective residents a wide selection of home-buying opportunities, and a broad range of year-round sports and leisure pursuits. We are proud of our accomplishments to date and excited about the opportunities to make Sparks and even better community in the years ahead.
