PURPOSE:	Review and submit a recommendation of approval or disapproval by the City Council for a. Tentative subdivision maps b. Rezoning cases c. Annexations d. Master Plan Amendments e. Title 20 Zoning Ordinance Changes f. Regional Plans that concern Sparks g. Regional Transportation Review and approve or deny variance & certain special use permit applications.
MEETING SCHEDULE:	First and third Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m.
MEETING PLACE:	Legislative Council Chambers, 745 4th Street, Sparks. Subject to change.
TERM OF OFFICE:	Four-year staggered term.
GOVERNING AUTHORITY:	NRS 278.010, 278.630, Sparks Municipal Code Chapter 2.14, 17.12 and Title 20.
APPOINTING AUTHORITY:	Mayor shall appoint subject to confirmation by the City Council.
NUMBER OF APPOINTEES:	Seven Members
QUALIFICATIONS:	Must be a resident of the City of Sparks, a registered voter and hold no other public office.
