Mr. Salerno was elected to the City Council in June, 1995. He ran unopposed for a second and third term in June, 1999 and June, 2003 respectively. Mr. Salerno has lived in Sparks for more than 55 years and is President of Nevada Forms & Printing Company.

Mr. Salerno is active in the Kerak Shriners and Sparks Elks Lodge. He is a Director of the Reno Rodeo Association and a member of Hidden Valley Country Club.
