On Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11, 2008, the sixth annual Arts in Bloom festival was held at the Sparks Marina Park benefitting the Northern Nevada Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Moms were treated to a special day under the sun, attendees took home some of the region's finest assortment of artwork, enjoyed fine food and popular entertainment, and participated in a special celebrity painted plate auction featuring the works of well-known figures. All proceeds from the auction were contributed to the Komen for the Cure Foundation of Northern Nevada.
Thank you to all celebrities participating!
