Enjoy a great day of golf at the annual Mayor’s Cup Golf Tournament in Sparks on Friday, May 7, at D’Andrea Golf Club. The 10th annual tournament will feature a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start. The winning team will have their names engraved on a perpetual trophy displayed in D’Andrea’s clubhouse.
The cost to participate in the tournament is $125 per player (non members) and $100 per player (D’Andrea members). The tournament is played in a foursome format. The entry fee includes appetizers after the tournament on the Sunset Patio.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at the tournament, and sponsors have the option of representing a foursome and placing signs at the event.
Proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit the Sparks Parks and Recreation Department’s Youth Scholarship Fund. The fund assists children from low income families who cannot otherwise afford to participate in recreational programs offered through the City of Sparks. Money raised at last year's event allowed 82 young people in Sparks, from 48 different families, to participate in recreation programs.
