A Weekly Celebration of Food & Family Fun
Don't miss the 16th Annual Hometowne Farmer's Market held on Victorian Square in downtown Sparks this summer. The event takes place every Thursday evening, June 12 - August 21 (except August 7) from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Shoppers can enjoy fresh picked produce from some of the finest growers, a tasty variety of international food and beverage items, packaged foods, unique arts & crafts, and assorted flowers. Each week of the farmer's market offers new themes, different community group involvement, exciting stage music & street performers, and returning and new sponsors are also weekly highlights. This year a recycling program will be introduced, highlighting new products to bring to market and recycle each week.
Take the Farmer's Market Express, courtesy of RTC RIDE and the City of Sparks, beginning at 3:30 pm from Reed High School to the RTC CITISTATION on C Street. This complimentary service runs every 15 minutes, with the last shuttle returning from CITISTATION at 9:30 pm. Parking at Reed High School is also free. Call 348-RIDE for more info.

, or interact with and support one of over 100 vendors, crafters, and sponsors. In an ongoing effort to monitor the consumption of alcohol, those 21 and over who intend to purchase alcoholic beverages are asked to wear a wristband and receive a hand stamp.
As is customary, attendees are asked not to bring any glass containers, alcohol, or pets to the event. For more information, call 775-353-2291.
