Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off Extends the Labor Day Weekend
Summer wouldn't be complete without the world famous Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-off. The event has grown into the biggest and best festival of its kind. This year's festivities will be held August 27- September 1.
An estimated 500,000 people attend the Rib Cook-off over Labor Day weekend, enjoying the can't miss formula of fantastic food, fun events, and free entertainment. The competition is friendly but fierce, and people of all ages taste and compare, all the while consuming over 150,000 pounds of the best ribs you'll ever experience.
In addition to award winning ribs, the Nugget Rib Cook-off features headliner entertainment each night and during the day visitors are entertained by 125 arts and crafts booths, roaming musicians, clowns, and more.
